- Member of the 20V Pro Series - Power a variety of devices with just one battery
- Stroke length 20 mm, pendulum stroke optionally adjustable for faster sawing progress.
- For optimal cutting results, the stroke number of the reciprocating saw from 0 to 3000 min-1 can be continuously adjusted to the respective material.
- Tool-free saw blade change - with the saw all ½ inch universal saw blades for wood and metal as well as flexible bi-metal saw blades for flush sawing can be used.
- By pressing the adjustment knob, the cutting depth can be adjusted to the thickness of the workpiece. In wood, this is a maximum of 100 mm, in metal 6 mm.
The reciprocating saw, a handy and thanks to the battery independent helper for work around the garden and home. The CRS450-20ProS reciprocating saw from Scheppach scores with its handy design, the quick-release chuck that can accommodate all ½ inch universal saw blades for wood and metal, the continuous stroke number adjustment up to 3000 min-1 and last but not least thanks to the enormous work relief it offers compared to manual saws.
A wireless helper such as the cordless reciprocating saw CRS450-20ProS from Scheppach can be used for many jobs around the home and garden. The cutting of plasterboard panels is as well as shortening pipes or cutting branches where the pruning shears fail. Two saw blades, one for wood, one for metal. With the saw, all ½ inch universal saw blades for wood and metal as well as flexible bi-metal saw blades can be used for flush sawing.
To change the saw blade, simply turn the chuck ring in the direction of the arrow, replace the saw blade and return the chuck ring to its original position. The change is quick and tool-free. The saw blade can even be used for certain applications rotated 180°.
For optimal cutting results, the stroke number of the reciprocating saw, i.e. the speed of the saw blade, can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 3000 rpm to the respective material. This is done easily and intuitively by varying the pressure on the on/off switch. An upstream switch-on lock prevents accidental starting of the saw.
The foot plate or the guide shoe is also adjustable without tools. With one of the four preset positions, which can be selected by pressing the adjustment knob, the cutting depth can be adjusted to the thickness of the workpiece. In wood, this is a maximum of 100 mm, in metal 6 mm. Due to light pressure on the guide shoe, it can be swiveled, so the reciprocating saw also adapts to the surface of the workpiece.
If necessary, the sawing work can be optimised by an additional pendulum movement of the saw blade. Especially if a rapid sawing progress is to be achieved. The pendulum movement is particularly suitable for soft to medium-strength materials such as soft and hardwood, tree wood or insulating material. If, on the other hand, the cut pattern is to be fine and clean or thin, hard workpieces such as wooden panels should be cut, then the pendulum stroke should be switched off.
Ergonomically shaped, with rubberised soft-grip handle for a non-slip grip, the reciprocating saw can be guided powerfully and precisely.
